Have you every decanted a wine before taking it to a restaurant?
If so, do you try to jam the cork back in after decanting, or use a bottle stopper? Does this look cheap? A restaurant is San Francisco that I frequently attend does not charge a corkage fee, and I would love to take advantage of this, but I would love to decant a bottle or two for a few hours before dinner. Thoughts?

well i would think that if they dont mind that you byob, dont charge corkage fees, then why dont you just bring your decanter and decant it there? wont you defeat the purpose of decanting by putting the wine back in the bottle? what about having the opened container (bottle) while you are driving? it all seems rather complicated though. but not cheap.

Would it be legal for a restaurant to collect DNA samples/finger prints and credit card ID?
for a comparison to the criminal DNA database?. could the police or crime stoppers pay out rewards for matches to serious criminals?. what would it cost to run multiple DNA samples and have the police check them against their database?. im thinking this could be a profitable and worthwhile sideline for some businesses. it wouldn't be a case of people giving samples they would be leaving them behind as a result of eating a meal.

Actually DNA samples are very easy to read. Today any average joe can get his entire genome analyzed and printed out for just under $1000....that might seem like a lot but 10 years ago it cost millions of dollars to read one genome for the Human Genome Project. In fact, today in select cities you can get your unborn child's complete genome read and find out what the possibilities are for that child developing certain traits or diseases later in life

How do I become a bourgeois bohemian? How many steps to enlightenment are there?
So far I've thought up of 10 steps to bourgeois bohemian enlightenment, but I am sure there are many more. 1. have a chrome stainless steel kitchen with state of the art kitchen appliances, like a sausage maker, in order to make organic sausages? 2. eat at a raw vegan restaurant with friends for brunch, when I'm not eating organic sausages? 3. put up antique photos of impoverished, economic immigrants in the early 20th century arriving at Ellis Island, in my Manhattan loft? 4. dress up my pet dog in an Obama sweater? 5. use pictures of Che Guevara as interior decor, while working for a sleek ad agency or a corporate company? 6. purchase things like this polar bear bath tub stopper, because it is somehow necessary and "eco conscious"? http://www.apartmenttherapy.com/la/look/the-saddest-tub-drain-stopper-ever-075196 7. constantly talk about how "open minded" and "tolerant" I am? 8. compare people to "Hitler" and accuse them of watching Fox News or listening to right wing talk show radio when they disagree with me? 9. look to get offended by something at every available opportunity? 10. preach at the person working at the art supply store because they called Japanese paper "rice paper"? Can you think of any more steps to bourgeois bohemian enlightenment?

Mwahahahhaha great question. In Paris, we called them the Bobos but the ones I've come across in the UK all tend to : Read the Guardian and quote Germaine Greer quite oftenly. Feed their children black olives, hummous and pancetta. Go camping up-north to reduce their carbon footprint. ( And then do the odd caribean trip later on...) Say veganaise is fabulous and much better than mayonnaise Try to buy local, organic, fairtrade and have their limited-edition trainers imported from Japan. And on and on and on and on. The french bobos have style though, and won't mind a bit of nitrates in their red wine.

Can you guys help me accessorize my birthday dress(pics inside)?
So i bought a great dress for my birthday which i am celebrating by going to diner in a nice restaurant first and then to a lounge/bar afterwards. Its a great nude color dress and heres the picture: http://www.lulus.com/products/heart-stopper-blush-pink-lace-dress/33603.html Now for the diner i am going to wear a blazer or a cardigan over the dress. But though i love the dress and already have the shoes (I'll add the link to the shoes below) I have no idea what to accessorize it with!! I need a small bag (preferably one with a strap) as well as jewelry. Please help me!! If you guys can show links to your ideas that'd be great, also price is not an issue : D Shoes (black): http://www.stevemadden.com/Item.aspx?id=55323&np=127_282-136_394 P.S. And of course i am wearing tights underneath, very thick tights that are almost like leggings.

I love the dress! Very pretty but not on that model! Lol. I was thinking cute little studs like these ones... http://www.jewelryexchange.com/productDetailsStuds.aspx?DT=HG&DW=0 They have them at Avon i think wait no designer jewlery. Also for cheap ones try walmart(; I personally think you should go with no neckalace! It would be much more cute without. Maybe try a clutch handbag. Im thinking black like this one... http://www1.macys.com/catalog/product/index.ognc?ID=503963&CategoryID=27691#fn=COLOR%3DBlack%26sp%3D1%26spc%3D23 I really help this helps! Srry if you dont like(:
